testimonial
“seachange were a dream to work with. They listened carefully to our desired outcomes therefore understanding our requirements perfectly - they designed the perfect website for the project. They have created several websites for Yinka and each time the experience was completely hassle-free. It’s been wonderful working with a team you know you can rely on especially when a project is on a tight timeline or you make a last minute change. It’s been great working with a both professional and creative team.”
seachange studio has collaborated with Yinka Shonibare’s studio for almost a decade, designing and developing interactive websites for his ongoing Library installations. These websites have been shown at venues including Tate Modern and Turner Contemporary, with the most recent iteration - The War Library - at London’s Serpentine Gallery.

ongoing collaboration
Each website is conceived as an integral part of the Library installations. Developed in dialogue with the studio, the websites extend the artworks into a digital environment where audiences can explore the installations interactively. The focus is on clarity and usability while supporting complex, custom-built functionality.
approach
The result is a suite of interconnected websites that extend the reach of the physical installations and offer a considered digital experience. The War Library site, launched in 2024, continues this dialogue, inviting audiences to explore themes of history, conflict and colonialism through layered, interactive content.
