Working in collaboration with Jennifer Lauren Gallery, seachange made the Plus Tate Creative Access Toolkit fully accessible for digital distribution. Developed over four years for visual arts organisations across the UK, the toolkit provides guidance on working with and supporting deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists and audiences.
overview
The work centred on adapting the document for assistive technology, ensuring it is genuinely usable by the audiences it was created to serve. Accessibility was considered at every level, from document structure and design through to PDF formatting and image description.
